Here is another architectural wonder, a dynamic Tower! It is no where else but in Dubai which is all set to the record bearer of the highest skyscraper very soon. This building will have floors that rotate on command, resulting in constantly changing shape.
The project is presented in New York by Italian architect David Fisher. It is considered to have 80 stories constituting a height of 420m. The innovative design could rotate the apartments to 360 degrees at voice command around central column. According to Fisher the building could have endless different shapes as each apartment can rotate irrespective of the other.
It would be an energy self-sufficient luxury apartment. The energy is generated by means of wind turbines and solar panel. It employs 79 power-generating wind turbines located between each floor could generate up to 1200,000 kilowatt hours of energy. The solar panels are located on the roof.
Another architectural innovation is its construction. Only the core is built on the site. All other parts are brought to the site pre-fabricated from a factory. Thus saving construction time and ensuring more safety for the workers. The architectural wonder that need just 18 months to construct will be a reality by 2010
